Viper flex - Styx Journey

The Viper-Flex® Styx Journey is an evolution of their successful Viper-Flex® Journey travel shooting stick with an aluminum/carbon fiber tube that can be detached and stored in a standard case. Improvements over theViper-Flex® Styx Journey include:

• The Viper-Flex® Styx Journey is one-hand operated. A handle on the side of the shooting stick allows the shooting stick to be unfolded with the front hand, ready to fire. The stock is prepared so that the handle can be moved to the right side, so that it can also be used by shooters who shoot from the left shoulder.
• There is now a built-in transmission in both cylinder heads, which ensures that they are always in the same position, in relation to the spread angle of the legs. (as on a plug fitter). With this system, it is now possible to open the stick's leg angle, out to normal standing shooting height, by squeezing the stick and handle. If you need a slightly higher or lower installation, due to the nature of the terrain, you can simply fine-tune by grabbing one set of legs and spreading the angle, more or less. If you want to use the cane for a sitting or kneeling shooting position, simply shorten the legs and spread them out to the appropriate angle.
  The rubber feet on the Viper-Flex® Styx Journey are also new. They are designed to both be used on a hard smoother surface, to bite into the ground at a greater spread angle, and to step on a surface on a soft surface.
• The wide system, traditionally the front, has been made wider, so that you now cover a larger area, without having to move the stick.
• The fork, which was previously only intended to support the rear stock, has now been opened up and provided with full rubber coating on the contact surfaces. This means that the Viper-Flex® Styx Journey can now be used as a system for the rifle, as you yourself find it best, because the fork can now also support the offset shaft, so that the lateral adjustment is made, in the same way as when you use a support leg on the rifle.
• The locking tab in the top, which holds the legs in the folded state, has now been integrated into the top piece and made of rubber. This ensures quieter operation of the cane.
• The edge of the rear system has now been made so wide that there is the rubber that rests on the front legs, which reduces possible 'clacking noises' when you have the shooting stick with you hunting.

The Viper-Flex® Styx Journey is an extremely strong and very stable travel shooting stick that you can use for lying, sitting, kneeling and standing shooting without the purchase of additional accessories. (However, we recommend continued use of the Single Leg for the shooting stick for even better stability). The unique design means that you get a solid support for delivering your shots, thereby reducing the risk of shots being fired.

Use the Viper-Flex® Styx Journey for Pürsch, stop hunting, pressure hunting, drift hunting, as a support for your binoculars during the hunt or as a one-legged or two-legged shooting stick.

Clip Grips
Clip Grips for the shooting stick are included. Clip Grips are profile handles that cover the free holes so that wind noise is removed. In addition, the handles insulate against heat/cold and reduce metallic sounds to a minimum.
