This is a very good hunting knife/touring knife with hollow ground blade. The knife blade has a curved upswing (trailing point) adapted for hunting, but which is also applicable for other uses. Since the knife blade is hollow ground, the knife is perfect for cutting into meat (between the skin and the meat). The knife blade is not too long - which makes the knife good to use. The knife has a cast aluminum handle with a finger guard. 14116N steel in the knife blade which is extra durable and oiled Masur birch in the shaft. The knife has a sheath in cast aluminum and there are safety inserts in the sheath. The knife is delivered with a leather sheath and a beautiful gift box.
